The Chairman of Tycoons Group, one of the major steel long products suppliers in Taiwan said that it planned to complete the construction of its electric furnace (EF) mill in Thailand at the end of 2013.
Also, once the new mill starts official operation, it will help Tycoons to cost down.
The market analyst said even though the steel market seems to be weak this year, Tycoons is still able to make profit this year.
Meanwhile, the new mill in Thailand will be able to produce rebar and alloy steel products and it may help Tycoons to enlarge its market shares in the coming future.
