According to statistics of Statistics Bureau in Norway, its volume of goods trade was USD89.51 billion from January to July in 2016, down 17.6% year-on-year (the same below). Exports fell by 22.1% to USD49.08 billion, and imports fell by 11.4% to USD40.43 billion. The trade surplus was USD8.65 billion, down 50.2%.

In July, Norway's volume of goods trade fell by 12.6% to USD12.30 billion. Exports fell by 18.8% to USD6.97 billion and imports fell by 3.0% to USD5.33 billion. And the trade surplus was USD1.65 billion, down 46.8%.

Since January to July, bilateral trade volume between China and Norway fell by 11.9% to USD5.58 billion. Norway's exports to China were USD1.35 billion, down 24.1%. It accounted for 2.8% of Norway's overall export, down 0.08%. And Norway's imports from China reached USD4.22 billion, down 7.0%. It accounted for 10.5% of Norway's overall imports, up 0.5% over the previous year. Norway's trade deficit with China grew by 4.4% to USD2.877 billion.

China was the ninth largest export market of Norway and the third largest source of imports up to July in 2016.
